About
Meet Patricia
Patricia has served as the Mayor of Portage for the past eight years and as a Council Member for eight years prior. She first ran for city council as an advocate for change, after she and her husband successfully won a property tax case against the city. Patricia has fearlessly taken on many issues within City Hall to make local government better serve its citizens. Patricia has been married for forty years, raised three sons and is currently enjoying four grandchildren.

Key Commitments
We've made real progress together, but there's more to do. I will continue to advocate for priorities that put our community first, protect our families, and make Portage a wonderful place to live, work and play. My goals for the next term:
Set to open in Spring 2026, creating a new hub for fresh food and community connection.
Facilitate creative zoning which will spur redevelopment of Crossroads Mall and vacant buildings.
Improve infrastructure around new school buildings and enhance student safety.
